Hotel Rotwand in Steinmannwald is a delightful gem that truly embodies the charm of family-run establishments, replete with over 40 years of experience. The panoramic views of the red wall cliffs from our room's balcony were nothing short of breathtaking, offering an ideal backdrop for my evenings unwinding with a glass of wine I had brought along. After a day of exploring the stunning landscapes of South Tyrol, we found the pool a refreshing oasis, perfectly designed to provide relief after sun-soaked adventures. The highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast; a bounteous buffet made with homemade delights that made us feel at home while indulging in local flavors on the sunlit terrace. With the Bolzano travel card in hand, we explored various attractions in the region, making Hotel Rotwand not just a place to stay but an ideal starting point for our excursions. The friendly staff contributed significantly to our experience, ensuring every need was met with warmth and kindness-truly reflecting the essence of South Tyrol hospitality.
